Come along inside... We'll see if tea and
buns can make the world a better place.
~The Wind in the Willow~
Welcome to our Tea Time section! Tea is special to those of us
at Old Fashioned Living. We feel that taking a break for tea
helps us to slow down, reflect and stop the often hurried pace of
our lives. Giving tea parties helps us to celebrate our friendships,
teach our children manners and create memories that we will treasure
forever. Whether it's a cup of tea and a simple plate of cookies
between two friends or an elaborate high tea for honored guests,
it's a special time for all involved. Brew a cup of tea and stay
awhile with us.

The index above is a complete listing of all articles relating to tea from
our varied and exceptional group of writers. However, we
wanted to break down the articles for you from our main writers. Each of us has a
different perspective on tea that will help you to understand where we are coming
from. Brenda Hyde, the editor of Old Fashioned Living, is a mom with three kids.
Her experience with tea parties centers around children and the casual tea. Ellen Easton is an
experienced professional who has authored books on tea, given lectures and written
extensive articles on tea etiquette. She is our expert on all that is proper! As you can
see, we both write from a different perspective, but both have a love of tea in
common. We hope as you read our articles you will learn as much as we have.
