How To Create Keepsake Cookbooks
I met Kathy Steligo on one of my cookbook lists. It didn't take us long to
realize we both loved the rich history and memories associated with cooking and the
kitchen. She sent me a copy of her book "Meals and Memories: How to Create Keepsake
Cookbooks" and I loved it! She tells us how to plan, create and even sell our own
family cookbook. You can learn how to create a simple keepsake to be handed down in

Kathy Shares a Memory:
My dad loved simple, good-tasting food. And although he didn't cook
frequently, his limited cooking repetoire produced some of my favorite foods
and memories: crisp Southern-fried chicken, wonderful potato salad full of
hard-boiled eggs (pre-cholesterol days), and meatballs. He was crazy for
meatballs and considered spaghetti undressed without them! Whenever he
visited, I would come home to find every dish and pan full of meatballs. My
favorite memory of him cooking was our birthday breakfasts. He would write
our names perfectly in pancake batter, and serve them up to us with butter
and syrup. I've tried this many times myself, and have never been able to
duplicate it!
